Inclusion Community of Practice Early Childhood Educators (Southside)

First CoP for 2025 - Narrabundah Early Childhood School.

Are you an Early Childhood Teacher or Educator on the Southside of ACT? Do you want to know more about including children with disability or developmental delay into your service?
The Inclusion Community of Practice for Early Childhood Educators (Southside) is a Community of Practice facilitated by EACH in partnership with NSW/ACT Inclusion Agency and the Southside Initiative.

The Inclusion Community of Practice aims to build capacity of the Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) sector in response to industry specific challenges.

Furthermore, the Inclusion Community of Practice will support centres to build their capacity to sustain the enrolment and inclusion of all children.
We invite early childhood educators, teachers, directors, and managers who work on the southside of ACT to attend.

Here's what some of our members are saying.........

"It's different than any other workshop i have been to, and i much prefer it. I feel like it's important. A lot I go to are not relevant, but this one is"

Together for Inclusion: Enhancing Educator-Parent Partnerships in Early Childhood.

Educator, parent, and carer partnerships are crucial in supporting all children, as they create a unified approach to meet the child’s unique needs. When educators, parents and carers collaborate, they share valuable insights, strategies, and resources, ensuring consistent support both at school and at home. By working together, educators, parents and carers can better advocate for the child, promote self-confidence, and create tailored learning experiences. This teamwork fosters an inclusive environment where children can thrive.

Join us for this Inclusion Community of Practice Session where we will explore the critical role of educator, parent, and carer partnerships in supporting all children. Through collaborative discussions, shared experiences, and practical strategies, we’ll examine how strong communication, and teamwork can enhance personalized support for each child.
