Parenting & Carer Workshops Supporting Southside Families

The Southside Initiative has teamed up with southside primary schools and ACT community services to offer FREE parenting workshops in 2024. Each term we would like to offer two relevant workshops that will support Southside families.

Workshops are open to all southside families to attend, regardless which school your child may attend.

Please note food will be provided plus adjunct care for any children who attend.

Term 4, 2024 

Workshop #3 Preschool Transition 

Is your child starting preschool or school in 2025? The ACT Education Directorate has launched the Preschool Pathways program, designed to support children in their transition to preschool.

Come to this session to get tips on how to prepare your child socially and emotionally for this transition and how to use play and fun to learn. There will be Q&A with the Preschool Pathways.
